You grew up with that Ferrari poster hanging on your bedroom wall. It took center stage in your bedroom, more important than any other pinup or rock band poster. You're now grown and made your mark so you can have the car of your dreams, the Ferrari. Not just any Ferrari but maybe a red F1 with all the trimmings in mint condition. Now it is time to get the right car insurance to go with that car so it will always be in mint condition no matter what happens. Taking care of it is all your concerned about. This car requires more than the insurance any car insurance company can supply. This car needs Leland-West Insurance.
There are many things that make the Ferrari a special and sought after car. One of the major items of what makes a Ferrari special is their utilization of race technology in their street cars. Often, in the old days this was merely using race engines as the platform for street car motors, whether it was the vintage V12s or the turbo era F1 cars of the 1980s. A lot of downforce engineering learned in F1 had started to be applied in the mid 1990s to the modern day. Starting in the late 1990s, Ferrari finally offered their first automated manual transmission, the single clutch "F1" transmission offered in the F355 model, 1999 model year. This was ten years after debuting the transmission in the F1–89 grand prix car for the 1989 Brazilian Grand Prix. This was the first proper automated manual transmission for a road car and it wasn't long before other manufacturers started to follow suit.
